Progressive Supper June 8th 2013!

Dunchurch’s Annual Progressive Supper will be held on 8th June. This is a very sociable event and more about meeting new people in the village, catching up with old friends and having a good time, rather than the food.

All you will need to do is provide one course (starter, main or dessert) with wine, for either 6 or 8 adults (including yourselves).

The idea is that the food should be quick, simple and prepared in advance, as everyone involved moves to a different location for each course.

It is NOT a cooking competition! Feel free to make your own course if you are happy to do so but the supermarkets also have a great range! For first timers, you can choose which course you would like to prepare.

The format for the evening.........

We all meet together at the beginning of the evening at someone’s house, for drinks and nibbles; then we are all together at the end of the evening at another house, for cheese, coffee and more drinks!

The middle part is the adventure.....you will be told where you are going for each course as the evening progresses (you will only know the venue for your own course). At each house you will have your meal with different people. Again, you won’t know who until you get there!

The only requirement is that you live in Dunchurch, so that you can walk/cycle to each house. The cost is £10 per couple.

You will be told which course you are doing well in advance and where you will start the evening.
