Yet another tip of the hat goes to RaeGirlYeah as she has managed to capture the procession as it passed down Rugby Road once again!

Fete Procession - Important Notice!

The police will not allow us to close the crossroads in the centre of the Village for the procession.

They consider this a main road and will not allow disruption of traffic. They will allow the closure of the Rugby Road and will divert traffic through Northampton Lane and Adkinson Av.

This has caused some concern with the Festival Group but we will continue with the procession with some changes. THIS WILL NOT STOP US - WE WILL CARRY ON.

It is proposed that the procession meet up outside the St Peters church and at the allotted time when the road is closed move out onto the Rugby Road and along to the Fete field.

Please make all aware of this and if you are in the procession tell helpers family etc.

The Fete continues - 17th June, 12:30 until 5:00, with all the usual attractions - Bar, BBQ, Live music with the Lawrence Sheriff Big Band and The Dunchurch Band and Rockage to play us out at the end of the day.

We have a Circus Skills workshop, fairground rides, Alpacas, The Crew Girls, Tribulations, Belly Dancers, archery, art, tea and cake, and all the fun of a traditional Village Fete.
