Annual Village Assembly - 2018

Monday, May 14th : 7pm at the Dunchurch Village Library

On Monday, May 14th @7pm in the Library the Dunchurch Parish Council are convening the annual Village Assembly.

This is an opportunity for individuals AND ORGANISATIONS in the village to meet together to discuss matters of common concern.

This year the meeting is particularly important as we have just seen Rugby Borough’s Local Plan come under the scrutiny and examination by the Secretary Of States appointed Inspector, in sessions spread over 12 days.

The key mechanism for trying to make any resultant approvals and future development plans as acceptable as possible to our village is via a Neighbourhood Planning Committee, which the Parish Council has set up (Next meeting on Tuesday 8th May, also in the Library at 7pm, still looking for volunteers)

The Neighbourhood Plan will be on the Agenda at the Village Assembly and we encourage as many people and organisations to take time to attend so as to give support and express views.

If you care about the future of our village then please attend.
